Safeguarding
Warlingham Squash and Racketball Club is committed to providing a safe a fun place for young people to play squash and racketball. It's our shared responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all young people from poor practice, abuse and bullying.
Our safeguarding policy clearly states the club’s duty of care and aims to promote a positive experience for everyone and to respond appropriately to all safeguarding concerns/disclosures.
Concern Reporting Procedure:
Respond
If you have a concern about a child or a disclosure of abuse is made to you, act without delay
Refer
If the child is in immediate danger, dial 999 for the Police. Then contact the club’s Safeguarding Officer
If there is no immediate danger, contact the club’s Safeguarding Officer who will listen to the concern, document it and act as required
Record
Either write an account of the concern/disclosure as early as possible and send to the club’s Safeguarding Officer, or liaise directly with the Safeguarding Officer who will record it with you
